Brücke der Hoffnung (Bridge of Hope) Initiative (will start soon)



The Brücke der Hoffnung is a community-based initiative aimed at preventing religious radicalization and extremism among Farsi, Pashto and Urdu speaking communities in Hamburg and Berlin. The project supports around 500 individuals, focusing on prevention, rehabilitation, and social reintegration through a trauma-informed, sustainable approach.


Drawing from Afghanistan’s past and international best practices, we work to help vulnerable individuals heal, reintegrate, and build a peaceful future in Germany. Our initiative emphasizes collaboration, mental health support, and community resilience, ensuring lasting impact and safety for all.

Early Signs of Radicalisation – Please Stay Alert :

  • Withdrawal from family, friends, or community
  • Expressing extreme political, religious, or ideological views
  • Rejection of democratic values and human rights
  • Increasingly hostile attitude toward other cultures, religions, or lifestyles
  • Sudden change in clothing or behavior reflecting strict ideological codes
  • Use of extremist symbols, language, or online content
  • Justifying violence or showing sympathy for extremist groups
  • Attempts to influence or recruit others to extremist beliefs


If you notice that someone in your family, neighborhood, or social circle is showing signs like these — unusual behavior, radical views, or increasing isolation or extremism — please don’t stay silent.
